From sweet winter carrots to new spring greens and other great local food in between, this spring share will bring you the best early vegetables from our hoophouses complemented with hearty winter vegetables. The vegetable share includes spinach, mesclun, microgreens, lettuce, pac choi, scallions, radishes, green garlic, baby potatoes, onions, spring dug parsnips, carrots, new potatoes and many more!  Most 2-person families easily utilize a regular size share. The half share size has similar types of veggies as the regular share but in smaller volumes (it is more than an exact half of the regular share size). Add our SettlervoreMeat Medley, Chicken and Salmon shares too! Our Settlervore share includes farm fresh eggs, bread from local bakeries, Vermont cheeses, fruit, farm-made goodies like salsa and pickles and more! Pickups coincide with vegetable share.

Spring Chicken Share

Each month receive 1 (small share) or 2 (large share) whole broiler chickens with giblets delivered to your desired pickup location.  Pickups coincide with meat medley share pickup dates and locations.  Small shares receive 4 chickens total per season, large shares receive 8 chickens total per season. Average weight  of chickens is 4.5 pounds. Order multiple shares if you want more than 2 chickens per month.

Spring Salmon Share

Plant CSA

Buy vegetable, herb, and flower plants for your garden in a CSA model and receive a 10% or more savings.  Reserve the varieties you want and pick them up at our Plant Sale in May. One share is composed of 24 pots or packs of your choice.

VT Farm Share Donation

Our farm participates the NOFA-VT Vermont Farm Share program. This program subsidizes CSA shares for our neighbors who otherwise could not afford to join our CSA. Through the program, NOFA-VT will match each dollar that our CSA raises to offer reduced rates to income eligible individuals and families. VT Farm Share is made possible through your donations.

The Spring share runs from March to early June with pickups occurring every other week. There are 8 pickups total which happen at the following locations (choose one for the season): 

  • Mondays: Our Farmstand in Jericho, 3-6:30 pm 
  • Tuesdays: Community Chiropractic, 8 Essex Way, Essex, 3-5 pm
  • Tuesdays: 52 Locust St., south end, Burlington 4-6:00 pm
  • Tuesdays: VT Juice Co., 77 Main St., Burlington 4-6:00 pm
  • Tuesdays: Dealer.com (employees only), Burlington 4 pm
  • Tuesdays: Natural Provisions, Williston, 3-8 pm (on shelf in entryway)
  • Tuesdays: IBM, Essex (IBM and State of VT employees) 3 pm
  • Tuesdays: Chef Contos Store, Shelburne, 4-5:30 pm
  • Wednesdays: 19 Church St., Richmond Village, 3-6 pm
