2012 Spring CSA Share - Feb to late May (pickup twice per month)
From sweet winter carrots to new spring greens and other great local food in between, this spring share will bring you the best early vegetables from our hoophouses and field tunnels complemented with the hearty winter vegetables in our cold storage. This is our 3rd season offering a Spring CSA, we learn more and expand our offerings every year.
Our Spring CSA is available in two options:
Spring CSA Vegetable Share: $385
Eight to 15 different vegetables at each pickup during this share period: spinach, mesclun, asian greens, microgreens, lettuce, napa cabbage, pac choi, fennel, beets, scallions, radishes, green garlic, salad turnips, baby potatoes, celery root, rhubarb, parsnips, wild leeks, carrots, and more.
Spring CSA Vegetable Share and Settlervore Share: $585 (most popular)
All of our great spring vegetables PLUS a great selection of local foods from our farm and other local farms and bakeries. These local foods include a dozen of our famous farm fresh eggs; cheeses from either Does Leap Farm (goat cheeses) or Crawford Family Farm (cow cheeses); Breads, muffins, bagels or pizza dough from On the Rise Bakery, JSF pickles or frozen berries.
Add a Settlers Meat Medley for $195 (pickups are once per month) A share of our farm-raised meats is available during the same time period by signing up for the Spring Settlers Meat Medley. All local meats from our farm with a diverse selection of cuts: 100% grassfed beef and lamb, Pasture-raised Pork, and Pasture-raised whole chicken.
