Bulk Meat Orders
Our bulk meat purchasing options give you the most meat for your money. Stock your freezer for the long winter months ahead! All of our meats are free of added hormones and antibiotics and are raised on a healthy diet of grasses and other pasture plants as appropriate for each animal. The end result is meat that is healthy, flavorful, and tender. We fill bulk meat orders in the order they are received. Pasture Raised Pork
Our pork has incredible flavor and customers rave about the quality of the meat! We raise heritage pigs (Tamworth and Berkshire breeds) known for their ability to thrive outdoors and produce high quality meat. The hanging weight of a whole pig ranges from 200 to 280 lbs. You receive approximately 65% of the hanging weight in meat cuts. A $100 deposit secures your order and you pay the balance when you pick up your meat. Smoking is optional for a fee and takes an additional 3 to 4 weeks of processing time. Typical smoking fee to smoke and cure the ham and bacon of a half pig is $50-60. 100% Grassfed Lamb
Our lamb is 100% grassfed and finished. Born on pasture, we rotationally graze our lambs on well managed pasture, resulting in tender and flavorful meat. We sell out every year so be sure to place your order early! A whole lamb hanging weight ranges from 40 to 55 lbs. You receive approximately 65% of the hanging weight in meat cuts. Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is "Hanging Weight" ?
This is the weight of the animal after it has been slaughtered but before the meat has been cut. The "take-home" weight is the weight of the actual meat that you will receive after fat and bone have been removed. You can expect to receive about 65% of the hanging weight as “take-home” cuts.
2. When will I get my order?
We process bulk meat orders in the order we receive them and will be in touch with you to talk about the specific date. Typically we fill pork orders between October and January, and lamb orders in December but we sometimes have availability outside of these months.
3. Is there anything else I need to do?
YES! If you are ordering a whole or half animal please fill out the appropriate cut sheet and send it to us. If you need assistance or suggestions in filling out these sheets please feel free to contact us via phone or email. We can talk you through these sheets or even complete them for you.
