Juliette started working with us at Jericho Settlers Farm in August of 2014, and since then, has taken over management of the greenhouse. Originally from Ottowa, she moved to Jericho most recently from Maryland when her husband took a position at UVM. She lives right here in Jericho, and is the primary care giver of her two boys, Sam and Jonah. She values the flexibility that her greenhouse position gives her to be home in time for the school bus.

In the greenhouse, Juliette’s favorite job is to thin the lettuce. Besides being tediously satisfying, she also enjoys the process of making space for things to grow.

Her favorite vegetable to eat is the hakurei turnip, while her favorite vegetables to grow are tomatoes and basil. As two of the most time consuming plant starts, it’s a good thing that she loves to help them along!

On warm days, the greenhouse is open, and Juliette welcomes you to pop in and see what's new next time you visit the farmstand!

Juliette has seeded so much in the greenhouse that she has run out of table space! Not to worry, we are planting her transplants in the ground every week!
